If you want to study law in California, Empire College offers two law programs that might interest you. Our California law school is an accredited institution dedicated to providing a high-quality, intensive Juris Doctor and Master of Legal Studies programs for students pursuing a law degree.
- Juris Doctor
This 4 year program covers a broad range legal practice areas. To enter into the Juris Doctor program at Empire requires you to have a Bachelors degree in any discipline and this degree can be taken concurrently with the Master of Legal Studies.
- Master of Legal Studies
- Designed to give a foundation understanding of the legal system and law, the Master of Legal Studies gives professionals the opportunity to gain a higher understanding of the law as it pertains to their career and apply it to their daily lives. Professional fields such as finance, insurance and marketing deal with law on a daily basis

We base our success on the success of our students. Since 1973, approximately 76 percent of our graduates have passed the California Bar Exam. Also, throughout the past five years, Empire College law students have regularly achieved one of the highest pass rates for California accredited law schools. Students pursuing law degrees in Northern California benefit from the advantage of close-knit relationships and networking developed between Empire College School of Law graduates in the Northern California area. Our graduates make up approximately 25 percent of the Sonoma County Bar and include judiciary members in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lassen, and Merced counties. These valuable networking opportunities give our students an advantage in passing the Bar examination and finding employment in the surrounding area’s legal community.
